easyJet (U2, London Luton) has outlined its planned Amsterdam base operations, set to come online in April of next year. The airport will become home to three easyJet A320-200s, increasing the capacity on routes that are now served with the A319-100. The first two aircraft to be stationed in the Netherlands will arrive at the end of March with the third due in May.
The UK-based budget carrier says its new routes will include daily flights to Nice, a 3x weekly Toulouse Blagnac service, a daily Venice Marco Polo service, a 2x weekly Olbia service and a 3x weekly Dubrovnik service. Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel flights are to launch later next month.
Frequencies on existing services to Split, Berlin Schönefeld, Basle/Mulhouse/Freiburg, Bordeaux, Bristol Int'l, Geneva and London Gatwick will also be increased
