In addition to the hybrid-electric powertrain, ATR states that the Evo will incorporate a series of new features, such as eight-blade propellers, updated cockpit, improvements to the aircraft’s systems, a new more aerodynamic design and turboprop engines compatible with 100% of SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel). As a result, the manufacturer says the new plane will reduce fuel consumption by 20% compared to models in the company’s current portfolio.
