The Soleair tour operator reports: «We have been cheated by Aviro Air now, let's just say»BARI - The odyssey continues with Aviro Air, the Romanian air charter company that has fled shortly before mid-August, leaving hundreds of travelers ashore. Yesterday, the aeronautical authorities confirmed the cancellation of all scheduled connections until tomorrow to Lourdes and Greece, replaced with flights of other operators ....
Aviro Air asked us in total almost 150 thousand euro, all in less than 24 hours. But to the money received and despite having gone in person to Bucharest to realize the situation, we received an email that announced the cancellation of a flight without a valid reason ». Suffered by this behavior, Soleair has decided to say enough: "They are completely disinterested in reproaching the passengers, which we did, so with the directors we reported the situation to all the competent bodies: ENAC and the European Aviation Safety Agency (Easa), but also to the Romanian counterpart of ENAC. We have made a statement to the European Transport Commission, to the Italian Consulate General in Bucharest and we have also reported everything to the Portuguese finance police, "stresses Gravina. "This is a real scam. Not only in terms of economic but also organizational damage: there are people who have seen the whole travel and pilgrimage programs go to smoke ".
Thus, on 13 August, a summit took place in Bari attended by "the Romanian consul in Bari Lucretia Tanase, Aeroporti di Puglia, Vapatours and other operators involved (3 of Campania and a second Pugliese, ed) and brokers" underlines Piero Innocenti, president of Fiavet Puglia and vice-president of Fiavet Nazionale, also present at the meeting.
Feverish hours follow, with all the difficulties of finding new solutions for flights in one of the busiest weeks of the year. "But in the end, thanks to the collaboration of the subjects involved, we managed to find a series of solutions - continues Pati -. The next flights will be operated with other companies. And if Aviro Air were to operate with us on a destination, it will do so under the strict control of the Italian and Romanian aviation authorities ".
