Interesant! Apa calda de la toaleta de ce nu se taxeaza separat? Doar tot apa calda e! :))) sau in apa potabila calda e inclus costul paharului? Si daca am cana d'aia termos la mine tot ma mai taxeaza pentru ala calda sau ma refuza elegant si gata? :)))

Interesant, dar absurd! Chiar daca tot serviciul la bord este contra cost, sa nu uitam ca BA opereaza pe aeroporturi principale, ofera connexiuni foarte bune prin LHR, ofera acces la lounge si fast track, are un program de fiedelitate functional si foarte bun, nu te trezeste in timpul zborului sa cumperi lozuri.
Din punctul meu de vedere, chiar daca au scos serviciul la bord gratuit din economy pe sh, au facut-o pentru ca cere piata! Consumatorii cer bilete ieftine - e normal sa scada din calitate in favoarea pretului.

@AndreiX, problema nu e ca au scos free meal-ul de pe sh (au planuri să o facă și pe lh), ci faptul ca l-au scos dar prețul biletelor a rămas neschimbat!

Sindicatele ies mereu la innaintare cu asemenea declaratii. Ei nu pot dovedi ca au dreptate - dar nici compania nu prea poate dovedi ca sindicatele nu au dreptate.
Este o ocazie, pentru sindicate, de-a aduna capital-simpatie foarte ieftin...

Cu outsorcing sau fara, au revenit asupra continuarii zborurilor de la ora 18:00 si au prelungit perioada de zboruri anulate pana la finalul zilei.

Pana la urma de fapt ce a picat, Altéa DCS pentru BA, sau ce anume? Ca nu au propriul sistem de DCS, iau de la Amadeus. ;)

Amadeusul e legat la un sistem intern probabil. Le picase absolut totul. Nu le mergea NIMIC. Inclusiv liniile telefonice, rosterele, tot. Asta fiind si motivul pentru care nu aveau ce sa le comunice pasagerilor cei de la checkin, nu aveau nici telefoane sa afle ce se intampla... au avut cateva ore bune de blank total...

Following the major IT system failure experienced earlier today, with regret we have had to cancel all flights leaving from Heathrow and Gatwick for the rest of today, Saturday, May 27.

We are working hard to get our customers who were due to fly today onto the next available flights over the course of the rest of the weekend. Those unable to fly will be offered a full refund.

The system outage has also affected our call centres and our website but we will update customers as soon as we are able to.

Most long-haul flights due to land in London tomorrow (Sunday, May 28) are expected to arrive as normal, and we are working to restore our services from tomorrow, although some delays and disruption may continue into Sunday.

We will continue to provide information on ba.com, Twitter and through airport communication channels.

We will be updating the situation via the media regularly throughout the day.

We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience this is causing our customers during this busy holiday period.

Au tinut pasagerii inbound de pe curse longhaul cate 2-3 ore la sol pana sa ii poate debarca, au avut IFE-ul functional, aer conditionat, snacksuri si bauturi...

@AndreiX, in acest caz clar au un single point of failure pe undeva. Mno, daca se gandeau dinainte si plateau o expertiza IT cu probabil cel mult 1/450 din ceea ce au pierdut azi, evitau tot circusul respectiv.
