E aceeasi problema ca si la compania sora Swiss..AVROjeturile sunt la limita de check si se cauta solutii de tranzitie pentru C series intirziate.

Brussels Airlines announces three newcomers in its autumn and winter program, which opens on 26 October: Riga, Krakow, Warsaw. Other destinations are updated with more frequencies or improved timetables. At Brussels Airport, Brussels Airlines opens a new lounge in October and thanks to four new travel options for European flights, passengers are now offered even better value for money.

Ministrul economiei din Wallonia spune ca regiunea isi va vinde actiunile la Brussels Airlines daca Lufthansa va face o oferta de cumparare. Pana la urma, aeroportul principal al Walloniei este la Charleroi, unde Brussels Airlines nu opereaza deloc.

Le ministre wallon de l'Economie, Jean-Claude Marcourt (PS), se dit "disponible pour sortir du capital de Brussels Airlines". "Nous n'avons plus de raison à long terme de rester dans cette compagnie", a-t-il affirmé dimanche sur le plateau de RTL-TVI. "Je suis disponible pour sortir du capital de Brussels Airlines", a confirmé M. Marcourt dimanche, rappelant que la Wallonie avait été "patriote" en investissant "pour sauver de l'emploi d'abord", après la faillite de la Sabena.

Il a précisé que la Lufthansa, compagnie allemande qui détient actuellement 45% du capital de la compagnie belge, a une option de rachat des actions de Brussels Airlines et que "si elle l'exerce, nous sortirons". "Nous n'avons plus de raison à long terme de rester dans cette compagnie", a encore ajouté M. Marcourt, qui a glissé par ailleurs que "Brussels Airlines est profondément flamand".

Lufthansa envisagerait notamment d'intégrer Brussels Airlines dans Eurowings, sa filiale low cost. Les Allemands avaient déboursé 65 millions d'euros pour acquérir, en 2009, 45% du capital de SN Airholding, le groupe gérant Brussels Airlines.

Lufthansa nu va face nici o oferta.

Pina Brussels nu va fi profitabila nu au de ce sa isi strice bilanturile. Sau vor cumpara doar cind vor convinge belgienii sa treaca totul sub Eurowings.

Daca legat de profit nu e totul încă roz la SN, în schimb în ultimii ani numărul pasagerilor a tot crescut, inclusiv în 2015. Eu personal cred că status quo-ul actual se va păstra. De ce ? Belgienii nu sunt deloc dornici să intre sub umbrela Eurowings. De asemenea, nici Lufthansa nu se grăbește să îsi majoreze participarea si nici deținătorii actuali nu se grăbesc să vândă. De asemenea, coroborat cu succesul în a atrage pasageri, cred că cel puțin o perioadă încă, se va incerca rentabilizarea fără a se face schimbări radicale.

Ei uite eu sunt cam de alta parere. Nu stiu care sunt argumentele tale, ale mele ar fi urmatoarele:

- Eurowings este declarata ca platforma de brand pentru mai multi operatori - asadar ideea e de a avea un livery Eurowings operated by,

- acum 2 saptamini a existat o prima luare de pozitie oficiala a membrului de board care se ocupa de Eurowings, ca Dolomiti si SN ca si marci proprii sunt prea mici si ca nu au neaparat o identitate clara, ceea ce ar insemna ca poate ar fi mai bine sa intre sub umbrelaa Eurowings

- Belgia e o tara cu pondere mare LCC iar inclusiv SN este un fost LCC -Virgin Express

- zvonurile din piata referitoare la flota ne arata o orientaqre spre LCC - primavara asta pleaca 4 AVRO, pina toamna viitoare si restul - mai demult se vorbea de C100 ca inlocuitor, ceea ce pare exclus din motive de "nu sunt bani"; Embraere din LH iarasi nu ar fi decit daca mai vine o tura de la Dolomiti, care are insa nevoie de ele, inclusiv pentru a servi LH in wet lease; se zvoneste tot mai mult de 319 -ca din intimplare back boneul flotei Germanwings /Eurowings; cum Eurowings mai primeste anul asta 19 bucati 320 noi, e posibil sa dea ceva 319 vechi mai departe, mai ales ca SN nu are bani, foarte probabil pentru incepuit ca la Viena, operind cu doua marci

Imi poti da acum argeumentele tale de business, nu emotionale de genul "belgienii nu sunt dornici"?

Sigur, vin toate, dar pe rand in limita timpului disponibil.


  • Ce vine sigur in flota in 2016:
- 4 A319 (care inlocuiesc 4 RJ100)
- 2 A320
- 2 A330

Se ajunge astfel la un total de 10 A330.


  • Destinatii noi in 2016 (anuntate pana acum):

-Toronto (Canada)
-Libreville (Gabon)
-Lagos (Nigeria)
-Mumbai (c/s, operat de Air India)
-Nürnberg (Germania)
-Thessaloniki (Grecia)
-mariri de frecvente pe mai multe rute, atat long-haul cat si short-haul

  • Ca urmare a acestor extinderi ale operatiunilor, SN angajeaza 140 de persoane, piloti si insotitori de bord.

  • Anul 2015 a fost un an de exceptie pentru SN, cu un nou record de peste 7,5 milioane de pasageri transportati. Procentual, cresterea a fost de 12,1% fata de 2014 si peste 30% (!) fata de 2013. In cifre reale, SN a transportat cu 892.042 pasageri mai mult in 2015 decat in 2014. De asemenea, LF-ul mediu a crescut cu 2,4% ajungand la 74,4% (chiar 80,7% pentru zborurile transatlantice).

In 2015 Brussels Airlines realized the largest passenger growth in the history of the airline, with a total of 7, 5 million guests on board of its flights. This represents an increase of 12,1 percent versus 2014 and even +30% compared to 2013. This growth is significantly higher than the average of the European airlines and the overall passenger numbers on the Belgian market. The reason is to be found in the airline offering a combination of both attractive prices ánd premium service.
Brussels Airlines ends the previous year with a record growth. Not less than 7.500.909 passengers chose to fly Brussels Airlines to Europe, Africa or the States, or 892.042 more than in 2014. The European flights saw an increase in passenger numbers of 12.9 pct, the African network of 9.3 pct and New York and Washington 1.6 pct. The overall seat load factor grew with 2.4 percent points to 74.4 pct, with the transatlantic flights peaking at 80,7 pct.

Due to the higher passenger volumes and weight restrictions the airline transported less air freight in line with the expectations. The terrorist attacks that had an impact on Brussels in the month of December caused a temporary slowdown towards the end of the year.
