Egyptair confirmă pe contul de Twitter că zborul 804 care plecase de la Paris cu destinația Cairo a dispărut de pe radare la scurt timp după ce a intrat în spațiul aerian egiptean.

An informed source at EGYPTAIR stated that Flight no MS804,which departed Paris at 23:09 (CEST),heading to Cairo has disappeared from radar.

EGYPTAIR media centre will update as more information becomes available.

An informed source at EGYPTAIR reported that EGYPTAIR Flight No MS 804 has lost communication with radar tracking system at 02:45 (CLT)

EGYPTAIR A320 was at a height of 37.000ft, and disappeared after entering the Egyptian airspace with 10 miles.

EGYPTAIR has contacted the concerned authorities and bodies and inspection is underway through the rescue teams.

Conform unor surse a fost un semnal de urgenta, trimis de pe avion.
Acesta nu a fost transmis nici pe voce (COM), nici via transponder (7500/7700). Mai ramane ACARS, care poate fi raport automat trimis de aeronava sau mesaj compus de catre piloti.

Conform BBC, s-ar fi găsit in urma cu cateva ore, niște obiecte de culoare albă si roșie, in mare, in apropierea insulei Creta - nu as crede Ca aceste piese sa fie de la aeronava, căci din cate stiu, un Egyptair A320 nu are culoarea roșie pe exterior (decât pe steagul Egiptului de lângă coada, dar care este cam mic)

De asemenea, un comandant Britanic care zbura de la Milano la Jeddah noaptea trecuta povestește ca zbura la FL390 pe același coridor, si ca vremea ar fi fost perfecta si ca ar fi fost 'liniște' in acea zona. Se pare ca nu au apărut probleme de comunicații între ATC si aeronavele

de obicei, primele 48h dupa un asemenea incident sint impregnate de multa confuzie. si emotivitate.
asta pentru ca sint implicati o multitudine de actori din geografii diverse, care au interese divergente pe care incearca sa si le protejeze prin dezinformare voita sau nu - sperind ca stabilirea faptelor sa le dea dreptate. mizele sint deasemeni politice cit economice (asigurari), cit reputationale.
pina cind vor aparea elemente materiale in ceea ce priveste epava sau evidenta unui security breach la CDG sau la CAI, nu se poate lucra decit pe ipoteze. iar acestea sint (la nivel macro) trei:
1) incident tehnic
2) act voluntar la bordul aeronavei (corp exploziv, interventie umana)
3) act voluntar de la sol (vector exploziv)

in functie de fragmentarea fuzelajului, de eventualele impacte si reziduuri chimice - anchetatorii vor putea focaliza pe unul sau altul dintre scenarriile de mai-nainte.
ii va ajuta si gasirea cutiilor...

Si traducerea din araba:
An official source said Egypt Air, the Ministry of Civil Aviation now received a formal letter from the Egyptian Foreign Ministry stating found floating materials likely it's the wreckage, as well as some life jackets and plastic products may be found by the Greek authorities near from the Greek island of Karpathos.
Exact ca si la incidentul de acum cateva luni, cei de la Egypt Air spun/scriu chestii diferite in fiecare limba. La capitolul Engleza sunt dezastru, deci mai repede cred ce traduce Google, adica "floating materials likely it's the wreckage".

Athens (AFP) - The head of the Greek air safety authority on Thursday told AFP that wreckage found in the Mediterranean close to where an EgyptAir passenger jet is thought to have crashed "does not come from a plane".

"Up to now the analysis of the debris indicates that it does not come from a plane, my Egyptian counterpart also confirmed to me that it was not yet proven that the debris came from the EgyptAir flight when we were last in contact around 1745 GMT," Athanasios Binis told AFP, after the airline said Egyptian officials had confirmed the wreckage found near a Greek island was from the ill-fated flight.

astea sint reactiile la cald ale unei organizatii careia ii lipseste trainingul in crisis management...
e posibil ca nici macar sa nu aiba un crisis communication team demn de acest nume.

... indica focar de incendiu in zona cockpitului, plus deranj la flight control unit, ceea ce ar putea insemna explozie la bord... si ar explica de ce echipajul nu a avut timp sa semnalizeze evenimentu la sol.
dar e inca prea devreme pentru concluzii pina cind nu se gasesc cutiile...

dupa ACARS putem spune ca dezastrul a inceput la 0026 si contactul radar sa pierdut la 0033... deci avem 7 minute lungi in care teoretic erau in viata pilotii si puteau da de stire controlorului.... sau poate sa dus si statia radio.. cine stie... RIP

R SLIDING WINDOW SENSOR este senzorul care detecteaza daca geamul first officerului e deschis sau inchis?
Inainte de asta este si un ANTI ICE R WINDOW.

Poate sa se fi crapat si spart geamul (in cateva secunde) ne lasand timp de reactie pilotilor, fiind mai multe erori la geamuri si sistemele lor? In urma acesteia "debris"-ul (scuze nu stiu cum sa ii zic pe romaneste) lovind "circuit breaker panel"-ul din spatele F/O-ului, declansand focul, fumul.

In urma unei depresurizari instante, pilotii sunt "incapacitated" instant.

S-ar putea ca focul sa fi fost de natura electrica (cum spunea @TotalGruv) si sa fi pornit de la sistemul anti-ice al geamurilor din cockpit.
