Intr-un proces de reimprospatare a flotei, Estonian a plasat o comanda de trei aeronave E175 si o aeronava E190, acestea vor fi livrate in a doua jumatate al anulu 2013
Alte patru E170 si patru E190 vor fi adaugate flotei, prin diferite contracte de leasing. Toate Ejeturile vor fi configurate in single class, cu 76 locuri in E170, 88 in E175 si 112 in E190, conform Embraer.
Conform prsedintelui OV, Tero Taskila, prin aceasta miscare compania incepe inlocuirea flotei de B737 si Bombardier CRJ.

Se pare ca Estonian este aproape de faliment. Momentan sunt in discutie 3 scenarii pentru viitorul companiei:

- lasata sa moara
- restructurare si schimbare de model spre low cost gen AirBlatic
- joint venture cu FlyBe - la 51% participare de stat ar putea obtine ceva sprijin la infiintare, armoniza flota (E170) si eventual beneficia de proximitatea Flybe Nordic

Currently the role of Nordic Aviation is limited to ordering the flights as the company does not have its own fleet nor crew yet. The flights are carried out in cooperation with such airlines as BMI, Trade Air, NextJet and Carpatair that provide the fleet and the crews, and Adria Airways that provides the flight operator’s certificate, commercial platform and ticketing system.

Ramine insa un mare semn de atentionare pentru Tarom, daca se incearca niste smecherii, ca tot discutam de reinnoirea flotei etc.
