Koln / Frankfurt (dpa) - Compania aeriană Eurowings se detașează din nou de fosta companie aeriană subsidiară Air Berlin Walter (LGW). Compania va deveni proprietatea Grupului Berliner Zeitfracht pe 1 aprilie, după cum au anunțat ambele părți miercuri. Prețul de cumpărare nu a fost dezvăluit. Lufthansa, părintele Eurowings, a preluat compania LGW în decembrie 2017 cu personal și drepturi de zbor de la sediul insolvenței companiei Air Berlin .

Aeronavele cu elice 17 "Dash" vor continua să fie pe drumul pentru Eurowings cu aceleași echipaje, deoarece în același timp a fost încheiat un contract de închiriere pe termen lung. Pentru cei aproximativ 450 de angajați, nimic nu se schimbă, deoarece se referă la un transfer reglementat al afacerilor.

Zeitfracht este deja activă în activitatea de zbor charter și închiriază mașini și personal către alte companii aeriene. Sindicatul pilot "Cockpit Vereinigung" a criticat afacerea. Grupul Lufthansa a avut aparent nevoie de LGW pentru a asigura sloturi importante și drepturi de traseu ale companiei Air Berlin pentru Lufthansa. Nu își îndeplinește responsabilitatea socială pentru personal. VC a cerut personalului din cabină să se mute la un loc de muncă în grupul Lufthansa.

Zeitfracht starts with reconstruction - and reaps criticism

The Berlin-based logistics group Zeitfracht wants to reorganize its newly acquired airline LGW. First of all, the flight crews stationed today in Berlin and Nuremberg as well as administrative employees from Dortmund are to move to Düsseldorf and Stuttgart. This affects a total of 130 employees.

After the termination of the cooperation by Eurowings, we made intensive efforts to deploy our aircraft throughout Europe and will continue to do so while under administration. Due to the virtual complete standstill of air traffic, these efforts have so far not been successful," Managing Director Dominik Wiehage said. "As it is also impossible to estimate whether we will receive public funding needed to tide us over until regular operations resume, particularly on regional routes served by LGW, we have therefore had to take this legally necessary step [of going into administration]."

"Eurowings - like all other passenger airlines in the Lufthansa Group - had to terminate all its wet-lease contracts in the wake of the Corona crisis, including the contract with LGW. The airline was a very reliable partner for us in domestic German traffic as well as for many destinations in Europe, and always performed flawlessly... The crisis is hitting the entire industry with such force that all airlines (even in the event of a recovery) will initially hardly be able to utilize their own capacities. We, therefore, see no employment opportunities for wet-lease partners in the foreseeable future," Eurowings said in a statement to ch-aviation.
