Bloomberg: inca 20 de widebody-uri pentru LH, A350 sau 787. Bloomberg - Are you a robot?

"Lufthansa is trying to decide whether to take its first 787 Dreamliners, or to expand its fleet of Airbus A350 wide-body jets as it updates its long-range aircraft, according to people familiar with the plans. Lufthansa has requested proposals from both Airbus and Boeing, and is looking to order about 20 jets in a deal that may be finalized in the next few months, said the people, who asked not to be identified as the discussions are private."

Daca si cu parca.

Acum 1 an Spohr a declarat ca in principiu Lufthansa are prea putine A350 pe tzeava si prea multe 777x -> intern se discuta un slow down in intrarea in flota.

Pe de alta parte Hohmeister declara saptamina trecuta in Hamburger Abendblatt ca 787 nu intra in discutie.

Dar hai sa vedem de fapt nevoile in concern:

- Swiss - mai are citeva 343 (inclusiv Edelweiss) si a luat 773 -> aici 787 ar avea sens; pe de alta parte 773 a fost o optiune oportunista pt ca a350 a venit tirziu -
- Austrian - are nevoie mare de schimbare, cele mai batrine 767 avind 27 de ani si exista un Peak de schimbare prin 2024-2026 cind maj 772 ajung la 25 de ani sau se termina niste leasinguri
- in Lufthansa deocamdata se zboara cam tot ce vine, inclusiv 340-600 parcate mai deunazi prin Spania si Malta - vor avea nevoie de ca o duzina de bucati pentru a inlocui 343 care imbatrinesc Pina prin 2022-23, teoretic pt 346 si

Singura sansa pe care o vad pentru 787 e ca Boeing sa cumpere prin buy back niste 346, desi daca e sa ia 787 Lufthansa destinatarul cel mai probabil adica Austrian nu va avea bani pentru modele noi. Asa ca half life planes din piata vor fi mai interesante.

Noile avioane vor inlocui A340, asta e intentia. Intern, se pare ca LH analizeaza si posibilitatea convertirii comenzii pentru 777X (macar o parte din ea) in 787 Dreamliner (-9 sau chiar -10).

350 au fost comandate sa inlocuiasca 340, dar ele zboara mai departe pt ca sunt amortizate inca pe sistemul vechi.

25 comenzi+15 optiuni + 15 purchasing Rights pt 350 vs. 19+ 24 A340 la Hansa.

Singurele optini ar fi Swiss - dar acolo nu merita o subflota 787-9 pt ca ai 330-300.

Sens ar avea la Austrian unde ai 3 767 f vechi de 27 de ani (dar cumparate in primavara asta asa ca vor mai zbura citiva ani), 3 767 si 3 772 de la sf anilor 90 din comanda Lauda Air care imabtrinesc Pina prin 2023-24 si 2 leasinguri de 772 care expira 2025 si 2026.

787-10 e prea mare pentru Austrian, 787-8 ca inlocuitor pentru 767 daca e sa fie inlocuit la aceeasi capacitate va veni mai mult ca Sigur din piata second,.

MUC has more free terminal capacity than FRA at the moment, even though MUC has less slots. So the basic plan is now "smaller aircraft to FRA, bigger ones to MUC" as more passengers in FRA would reduce the overall quality of the flight experience. Therefore five A380s will stay in MUC, two more A380 could be transferred from FRA to MUC in 2020.

The 777X will arrive in late summer 2020 and operate from Fall 2020. The first 7 of 20 777X will come without First Class, replacing older aircraft that don't have first class, too. Depending on how much capacity is needed, it will replace either A340-300 for faster or B747-400 for slower capacity growth. Decision about the T7X will be made in spring 2019. The first Boeing 777Xs are planned to be used in Germany, implying that later deliveries could be used in other countries / with other airlines within the group.

Currently negotiations with Boeing and Airbus are ongoing for more widebody aircraft. Instead of the 14 777X-options, the B787 is also a possibility, also some more A350s. However, A350 and B787 would not be used at the same hub.

Nimic nou sub soare. Comanda de 779 e din 2013 si trebuie sa gaseasca o solutie la cele 14 optiuni.
In MUC au platit pentru extensia la terminal, asa ca are sens sa Duca trafic de conexiune incolo, ca sa isi recupereze prin taxe de aeroport banii investiti.
Ca FRA are Probleme de infrastructura - eu cel Putin vad asta saptaminal.

LH are mai puține locuri decât AF la upper deck economy. Nu mă risc să ne fie alocate locuri random pe SIN - FRA, eventual să nu stăm unul lângă altul, sau sa fim îngrămădiți pe locurile E/F der pe lower deck.
Dacă tot dau bani pe locuri, atunci cred că aș alege upper deck, A/C say H/K.

Sunt 7 randuri de economy in spatele businessului. Configuratia este 2/4/2 vs 3/4/3 jos.
Fiind putine randuri, mesele se servesc destul de repede, in galley nu e inghesuiala dupa fructe, refill apa, etc
Un lucru lucru interesant este spatiul de depozitare de langa geam, care este excat ca si la business.

Am zburat odata BKK - FRA Thai A380 in cabina eco upper deck cu o configuratie aproape identica, . Este cea mai buna sansa sa prinzi 4 locuri libere pe mijloc pentru somn. In cazul meu a functionat perfect. Main deck era complet plin, upper eco 3 randuri goale pe mijloc
