Pe 1 si 10 aprilie am petrecut cateva ore la aeroportul Panama City. Am ajuns acolo cu KLM MD11 de la AMS dupa 11 ore de zbor. Din terminal am putut face niste poze doar prin geam, asa ca pozele lasa de dorit. Totusi am incarcat mai multe, chiar daca se aseamana, fiind totusi un aeroport destul de rar vazut pe la noi.

In general aeroportul este destul de plin si mai de moda veche, cu o mocheta murdara, destul de old style pe jos. Scaunele din fata portilor de imbarcare sunt deasemenea dintr-un material textil destul de murdar. Am preferat sa stau in picioare sau sa ma plimb in loc sa ma asez. In rest erau zone de free Wi Fi si cu prize pt incarcarea telefoanelor mobile sau pentru laptops. Pentru a ajunge la Medellin in Columbia, Panama e mult mai convenabil (50 min de zbor) si mai usor de tranzitat decat Bogota, unde cei de acolo sunt extrem de obsedati cu controale exagerate. La intoarcere am stat cateva zile in Panama si sper ca in curand sa va pot prezenta si un trip report.

Oh da, superbe poze. In locuri d`astea mai vezi si altceva :) Venezolana este epic, chiar daca apare si o alta aripa in poza.
In America de Sud se pot poza avioane care pe alte continente sunt predate la ora de istorie.

KLM mai are inca MD 11 in uz! E cel mai misto avion cu care am zburat! E f spatios si confortabil!

Nu ai si din interior. cel mai frumos avion cu acre am zburat a fost un A330-300 ER de la Lufthansa.

KLM e ultima companie care zboara curse PAX regulate cu MD11. FinnAir a renuntat la ele dupa Jocurile Olimpice de la Vancouver.
In varianta cargo zboara destul de multe companii.
Ca si charter se zboara pentru armata Americana, miscari de trupe. Mai fac escala si pe OTP.

Tuulai tata, mare e. Visul meu, MD11. Sper sa mai prind un zbor cu el, inainte sa il traga pe dreapta.
Acolo poti juca badminton.

Un plafon atat de inalt n-am mai vazut vreodata intr-un avion. Are cred ca mai mult de 3,5 m inaltime!

Pai primele MD11 au fost livrate in 1990. Se zice ca in 2014 le scot si KLM din uz.
