Am grupat in acelasi thread cele doua aeroporturi de pe litoralul bulgaresc pentru ca sunt asemanatoare ca evolutie ,pozitie geografica ,profil si detinator ( 60% Fraport AG si 40% Airport Services Bulgaria).

Mai jos sunt cifrele de trafic ale celor doua aeroporturi ( le putem compara cu cei 37,939 pax ai CND):

The number of the passengers served at Burgas airport exceeded 2.5 million (up 2 percent), marking a record in the airport’s history.
The biggest market was Russia, the number of Russian passengers reached 680 746, which is a growth of 7 percent year-on-year. Moscow (Russia), Minsk (Belarus) and London (UK) were the most popular destinations in 2014.
During the busiest day on July 25th, 2014, 37 693 passengers were served and 232 aircraft movements were handled at the southern Black Sea airport within 24 hours.
New routes to Austria, Belarus, Poland, Russia, Norway and Moldova were serviced.
156 airlines operated at Burgas Airport throughout the year, 12 of them – new clients


Welcoming a total of about 1.4 million passengers in 2014, Varna airport reported a 5.2 percent increase compared to 2013. The Russian tourists remained the largest group of the passengers (337 866), despite their decrease in 2014. The 2nd largest group is coming from Germany, which showed a strong growth of 10 percent. The most popular destinations to and from Varna Airport were Moscow (Russia), Sofia (Bulgaria) and Tel Aviv (Israel).
In 2014 two new regular routes were launched at the airport. Air Serbia initiated a direct connection Belgrade– Varna– Belgrade and Turkish Airlines started operating year round flights to Istanbul. Also in the charter segment, new routes to Germany, Denmark, Italy, Croatia and Greece were opened. In 2014, 138 airlines operated flights at Varna Airport and 18 of them were new clients.
